Intention is the first act of creation. We reach inside and gain clarity on who we are and what we are here to do, and then we intend that this life comes into existence. Intention is the conscious declaration of what it is that we stand for, what it is that we are going to bring into the world.
And yet is it true that I create anything? For when I observe myself in the act of intending I notice that there is already the idea of what I desire before I even speak it. Somehow I have arrived at the thing that was waiting for me. It was there, and then I came to it and said its name. Perhaps it is more true to say that I do not set my intent, I align with intent.
I approach the truth that has been waiting for me. Intent is Infinite Intelligence, Source itself, and there is a part of it with a story that is living itself in the world through me.
Source is completely bountiful and giving, it cannot help being so because it is everything, there is nothing that it is not. The more abundant we feel, the closer we move to it, until the distance disappears. When we feel poor and exist in a state of lack we are distant from Source, and then ego appears. It says we do not deserve abundance and wealth and that we have to do something to get it. We have to somehow crack the system that was set up by others. When we are in a state of abundance and we say “I” we are not speaking from the personality but as Source. When we are in a state of lack and we say “I” we are speaking from personality and ego. It is the ego that says we don’t deserve success, or that it’s not for us or that we need to suffer for some or other reason. If Source is infinite creativity and abundance, it cannot separate itself from us, it is we who separates from it.
To align with Intent, contemplate what you have and the wealth that is already present. When you are filled with this gratitude, state what it is you desire to bring into matter. Speak your intent, knowing it is not yours at all. Your work has been in lifting yourself to Source. When you match the energy of Intent, that which Intent has prepared for you is brought through you into the world.
